A change in utility billing structure resulted in Royal Foods paying more than necessary for network fees to run their heavy refrigeration loads

RESULT

We logged the facility’s energy consumption then used the data collected to design and build 3 power factor correction systems totalling 225kVAR to reduce network demand by 63 kVA and save this facility $12,000/annum
